Yes, you have the balance of the manufacturers warranty. It most cases, the warranty will run up until your car is three years old or 60,000 miles.

But here at Drivers' Choice we offer additional guarantees that are also very important.

History
The majority of the cars we sell come from our own fleet. These are cars that we have purchased brand new from UK main dealers - the exact same vehicles that you would buy yourself if you walked in and paid retail price.

Damage report
In the majority of cases, if a car has sustained any damage during its life, we will have a record. And we will disclose this information to you upon request. In the event that this information is not available, we'll give you a professional assessment as part of the Engineer's Report (see pre-sale preparation below).

Pre-sale preparation
Everyone claims to subject their cars to an extensive pre-sale check prior to you taking delivery. Because our cars are so new some dealers might be tempted to cut down on this procedure - but we don't.

And we'll provide you with a copy of the Engineer's Report to prove it.

Finance
We provide you with written evidence that the car you buy is free from any outstanding finance or any other encumbrance.

The 'look before you buy' guarantee
On top of all this, we offer the following guarantee: if you are not happy with the car you've chosen to buy once you actually see it - then you are free to cancel the deal. And you lose nothing. It's as simple as that.

Summary
So, with all this in mind, there really is no reason why you can't safely go ahead and save a fortune by buying from Driver's Choice. If you have any further questions or concerns about any aspect of our service, please call us on 0845 686 0800 or email enquiries@driverschoice.co.uk (or use the form below).

Paintwork and general cleanliness

We try to explain as best we can, but we understand that you will be anxious to know about the overall condition of the specific car that you want to buy.

Therefore in most cases we can email you lots of digital pictures of the actual car that you want to buy. This gives you the chance to zoom in and have a really close look.

Main dealer showroom
The best way we can think of to convey the condition that you should expect your nearly new car to be in is to say to you 'imagine you've just looked at it in the showroom of a main dealer'. Imagine it sitting there next to the same model brand new, but at £'000s less.

Tiny imperfections
However, we can't take away the fact that these cars have covered a certain amount of mileage, albeit small. Therefore, inevitably, there will be some very small evidence of this. Perhaps a very tiny light scratch; the smallest of small marks on the bodywork or a miniscule mark on the interior.

To be truthful, even brand new cars have small defects like these.

'Best customer' test
Our approach is best summed up with our 'best customer' test. We say to ourselves 'would we be happy to supply this car to our best customer?' If the answer is Yes, but we would rectify this small defect first - then we rectify it on your car too.
